Zabivaka, the 2018 FIFA World Cup mascot, is a wolf with brown and white fur and blue eyes; has four-fingered limbs, wears a blue and white T-shirt with black lettering (on small statues and stuffed toys depicting Zabivaku, the inscription reads "RUSSIA 2018" and red shorts; also has orange sports glasses worn or pushed over his forehead. The combination of white, blue and red in clothes symbolizes the colors of the Russian flag.
The mascot was developed by Ekaterina Bocharova, a student of the graphic design department of Tomsk State University. And the Official Mascot of the FIFA World Cup was chosen through online voting, in which more than one million people took part. Voting for Mascot took place on FIFA platforms
