🔊 Janie: Wow. You know I've never thought about that, Sally.

🔊 Sally: And not only that. People who litter should be fined. When people know that they will have to pay if they do something bad, they stop doing it!

🔊 Janie: You know, that's true. Sometimes you have some really good ideas…

🔊 Get young people involved in clean-up programmes.

🔊 Set up recycling schemes in your area.

🔊 Only buy products with biodegradable packaging.

🔊 If people know that they will have to pay if they litter, they will stop doing it.

🔊 This way landfill sites will not become so full.
