🔊 A: Yes, but it takes one pound of cotton to make one T-shirt, and it takes a third of a pound of pesticides to grow it. The cotton is then treated with a bunch of chemicals when dyed. Unfortunately, all of these chemicals become waste products that pollute our rivers and waterways.

🔊 B: Organic? I don't understand at all.

🔊 A: Organic garments are made in a way that causes the least possible damage to the environment. For example, recycled plastic or bamboo.

🔊 A: Organic clothing is very popular today. Fashion shows, well-known brands use organic clothing.

🔊 B: This is very convincing.
