Dear Jim,
Hi! How is it going on? I've just got your letter and decided to write you back. It sounds good that you enjoyed Paris. You asked me if there are any similar markets in my city. We have some, of course.
We have a few open-air markets in the suburb of town. They are so pleasant places and you can buy everything at lower prices and even you can bargain there. We often go shopping there on Saturdays and Sundays. You can buy clothes, toys, handicrafts, furniture, and even baking. The atmosphere is very loudly but sometimes funny there. Many shoppers are enjoying there, but not me.
If you are going visit this place in summer, I will take you and show you around. We can shop and then have lunch at one of the food stalls after. But I'm not sure whether you like it. Now I'd better go and do some work! Write me back soon!
