🔊 Russian people are very hospitable people.They usually like to meet new people and shake hands with strong passion. Russians like to show hospitality inviting new people to their homes. Russians are ready to propose for everybody a lot of food, drinks, jokes and a good conversation about everything. Don't be surprised or offended if Russians would talk about very personal topics with you about age, religion, politics, marital status and so on. You may take a small gift with you when visiting a Russian person, for example, a bottle of vine or a box of chocolate and you will eat and drink togehter.
Every guest becomes as close as relative during meeting. That's the main rule of hospitality. And when you are going to leave your hosts, they will kiss you on both cheeks and give a tight hug.
There is a social etiquette but only for official meetings. Russians also can be quite reserved in greetings and be skilful in small talking about unimportant things.
