🔊 Last year Olaf graduated from the university. He was a very sensible young man, knowledgeable enough, and fairly respectable. But not all the people in the neighbourhood liked him. Many of the villagers said Olaf thought only about himself and they didn’t feel his contribution into the life of their community. I am sure they didn’t feel much admiration for the man, but in my view he had begun to change and I could see some improvement in his relationship with the people. I hope Olaf will have enough wisdom to see that he is one of us.
