🔊 What is the role of cinema in people’s lives? In your life?

🔊 Cinema plays several functions in a person's life and in my life too. The first is educational. When watching films, we learn something new and adopt somebody's experience. The second is entertaining, as watching a movie helps to relax and distract from business.

🔊 Have you seen any films that you can call great? What are they? What makes them great?

🔊 The most memorable film for me was "The Help". It is distinguished by excellent directorial and camera work, excellent cast.

🔊 What types of films are your favourites? Can you say what kind of films your friends and relatives prefer.

🔊 I love family movies. My brother prefers action and horror.

🔊 Who do you like to go to the cinema with? Why so? Why do you think people still go to the cinema when they could easily watch the same films at home?

🔊 I love going to the movies with my girlfriend because I can talk about movies with her after the show. People love to go to the movies, because these night-outs distract from the routine of everyday life.

🔊 Do you think going to the cinema is an expensive pastime? Does it seem to you that cinema tickets have become really expensive?

🔊 Going to the cinema is not that expensive. I can afford such a pleasure.

🔊 Do you think the size of a screen is important if you watch a film at the cinema? Which is better - a usual screen or a wide screen?

🔊 Screen size is important to me. Movies look more spectacular on the wide screen. I am impressed by the scale and powerful sound.
