🔊 Not so long ago, I watched several films that impressed me a lot. I'll tell you about three of them. 🔊 "The Song of Names" was poerfull. It'a a drama in which music and unbearable grief are intertwined, forcing one to commit inexplicable acts. During the Second World War, the English Simmons family takes care of the talented boy Dovidl, a genius violinist from a Jewish family. He becomes the best friend for their son Martin. A few years later, Dovidl disappears without a trace on the eve of an important concert, and only after several decades will Martin be able to reveal the secret of his disappearance. 🔊 The second film, Joker, was gripping. It tells the story of a middle-aged man Arthur Fleck, who works as a clown, lives with a sick mother in a dysfunctional area of Gotham and dreams of becoming a stand-up comedian in order to bring joy to the audience. But Arthur is a strange person who does not fit well into society, he has serious mental problems, forcing him to take a bunch of pills on a regular basis. And around the dirt, despondency, humiliation, irritated people - here even a healthy person has a hard time. All this, in fact, is a powerful psychological thriller about where the villain Joker came from. No fiction. 🔊 And the third film is "Hachi". He struck me as cruel and violent and at the same time so touching. In a person who does not suffer from sociopathy, tears begin to well up in his eyes only at the mention of the name of the dog, who is waiting for the deceased owner, repeating the same ritual day after day.
