One afternoon in 1665 Newton was resting under an apple tree. He was sleeping and an apple fell on his head. He was thinking about the falling apple for many years. Suddenly he came up with the answer. Newton was very excited and started writing a book about it. He published his Theory of Gravitation which became one of the most important books in the history of science.
