– Listen and choose the phrases you hear. – Послушайте и выберите фразы, которые вы слышите.
1) Is it OK if I borrow your pen? – Sure, no problem.
2) Do you mind if I open the window? – I’m afraid I do. It’s a bit cold.
3) Do you mind if I smoke? – Yes, I do.
– In which of the three conversations does the speaker sound rude? Why? — В каком из трех разговоров говорящий звучит грубо? Почему?
– Listen to the other two conversations again and practise saying them with a partner. – Послушайте два другие разговора и практикуйтесь произносить их с партнером.
