1. During the last decade floods, droughts, cyclones, tsunami and tornadoes have become frequent. A lot of people from different countries have suffered and even died because of them. Earthquakes nowadays are more dangerous than before, because a half of the planet’s population lives in cities. Serious earthquakes took place in Turkey, Greece and Central America. In 2001 an earthquake completely destroyed the city of El Salvador that those days had been reconstructed by its citizens after the strongest hurricaine of 1998. It seems as if the nature turns on us. We have polluted air, water and soil, we dispose tons of waste into the water, our plants and factories release different gases into the atmosphere. The planet becomes warmer. As a result the warmer ocean generates distructive tsunami, cyclones and hurricanes. Governments of all countries should consider, how to protect the planet, to clean it from the garbage, to create a favourable environment for people and animals.
2. Very often our activity depends on the weather. The weather is so to say “the mood” of the atmosphere. Meteorologists use modern technologies to make a weather forcast. But the nature itself is a tool to predict weather changes. You need only to watch the clouds, the behaviour of animals and plants. So, if the sunset is red it will be windy. If in winter the sky is blue, it will be warmer, if it is light, it will be frosty, and if the sky is dark, it will be snowstorm.
