Refer children to the pictures and elicit/present the names of the characters and the items. Play the cassette/CD, pointing to the characters as they speak. Children repeat, chorally and individually. Elicit the exchanges for the other three items (a yellow TV, a green chair, a red table).Larry: I ’ve got a blue bed!
Sumeet: It ’s very nice! - Flashcards (bed, TV, chair, table)
Children close their books. Hold up the flashcard of the bed. Assign the roles of Larry and Sumeet to two children and invite them to act out the exchange. Demonstrate this yourself first. Do the same with flashcards of the TV, chair, table.
