Play the chant on the cassette/CD. Children listen and look at the illustrations. During the second listening, hold up your book and point to the parts of the face mentioned in the chant, encouraging children to join in. Play the chant as many times as you feel is necessary.Chant

They’re very very nice.
I ’ve got a nice nose too.
I ’ve got two ears.
One here, one here.
And a mouth to shout “Yoo-hoo”! - Repeat the chant without the cassette/CD. Point to your eyes, nose, etc and get the children to repeat after you. Then pin up the flashcards (eyes, nose, ears, mouth) on the board. Keep the rhythm by clapping your hands or snapping your fingers. Children chant by themselves with the help of the flashcards.
