Семья Уильямс решила посетить Россию. Уильямсы обсуждают свою поездку в Россию.
1) Какой город они решили посетить? Поставьте конструкции there is/there are в правильную форму.

— Where do we go? To Moscow or to St. Petersburg? (Куда мы поедем, в Москву или в Санкт Петербург?)
— What is there in Moscow? (Что есть в Москве?)
— Well, let’s read some leaflets… There is Red Square, the Kremlin, the Tretyakov Gallery. There are a lot of galleries and museums in Moscow. (Ну, давай посмотрим в брошюрах.. Там есть Красная Площадь, Кремль, Третьяковская галерея. В Москве много галерей и музеев.)
— Is there a zoo in Moscow? (В Москве есть зоопарк?)
— Yes, there is a large zoo in Moscow and there are a lot of parks there. (Да, в Москве есть большой зоопарк и много парков.)
— What is there in St. Petersburg? (Что есть в Санкт Петербурге?)
— Oh, there are a lot of museums there. The Hermitage, Kunst-kamera and many others. (Там много музеев. Эрмитаж, Кунст-камера и многие другие.)
— And what about the zoo? Is there a zoo there? (А что насчет зоопарка? Там есть зоопарк?)
— Yes, there is. (Да. есть.)
— are there any theatres in St. Petersburg? (В Санкт Петербурге есть театры?)
— Yes, there are a lot of theatres there. (Да, там много театров.)
— Well, I don’t know. I want to visit them both. (Ну, я Не знаю, я хочу посетить их оба.)
2) Присоединись к их разговору и посоветуй им, куда поехать.
I’d advise you to go to Moscow.
There is the Luzhniki in Moscow.
You can see the monument to Yury Dolgoruky.
I’d advise you to go to St. Petersburg.
There is Avrora in St. Petersburg.

3) Что бы ты посоветовал им посетить в твоем городе/деревне/районе? Почему?
I live in Moscow. I’d advise them to walk in the centre of Moscow. There are many interesting places there. There is the Lenin Library. You can see monuments there. There are many parks and ponds.

Туристы могут пользоваться различными способами путешествия. чтобы добраться до России. Какой способ ты бы посоветовал Уильямсам и почему?
Я советую им поехать на поезде. Поезд лучше, чем самолет. Это наиболее увлекательный вид путешествия.
I’d advise them to go by plane. A plane is more comfortable than a car. It is the quickest way of travelling.
I’d advise them to go by ferry. A ferry is slower than a train. It is the most exciting way of travelling.
I’d advise them to go by car. A car is more convenient than a bicycle. It is the best way of travelling.
I’d advise them to go by bus. A bus is slower than a train. It is the slowest way of travelling.
I’d advise them to go by bicycle. A bicycle is better than a plane. It is the cheapest way of travelling.

Футбольный матч (Лужники) — в семь вечера.
