🔊 A: You shouldn't use plastic bags, because they take thousands of years to decompose when they end up in landfills. Plastic bags cause over 100,000 sea turtles and other marine animals to die every year when animals mistake them for food.

🔊 B: How about using paper bags instead of plastic bags? They are more friendly to the environment, aren't they?

🔊 A: Actually, no. Paper bags aren't more friendly to the environment because we use lots of energy and chemicals to recycle them. And it takes a great number of trees to make paper pulp too.

🔊 B: Well, what must I do?

🔊 A: You could use reusable fabric bags instead. They take minimum energy while manufacturing, they are light and last for years.

🔊 B: I guess you are right.
