“My uncle went to Kiev yesterday.” Boris said that his uncle had gone to Kiev the day before.
“We discussed these books yesterday.” The students said that they had discussed those books the day before.
“Our teacher gave us these books at the previous lesson.” The pupils said that their teacher had given them those books at the previous lesson.
“We didn’t do many exercises yesterday.” Emma said that they hadn’t done many exercises the day before.
“I met my friends here last week.” Alan said that he had met his friends there the previous week.
“I cleaned my room two days ago.” Mike said that he had cleaned his room two days before.
