1) Yes, I’m glad to come back after summer holidays. They are rather10ng and you even get tired of just having a rest and doing nothing. I’m also glad to meet my friends and teachers again.

This hobby is very popular all over the world. People in China made kytes 3,000 years ago. Egyptians and Japanese also made kytes many years ago. Children in Europe played with them 1,000 years ago. A kyte is made of wood and paper, cloth or plastic. It flies in the wind on a long string. There are kyte festivals in many countries of the world. There you can see different kinds of them: Chinese kytes made of bamboo and paper, mostly dragon-shaped; flat kytes — the oldest ones, they are usually diamond-shaped and have got tails; box kytes made of wood; double kytes made of two kytes put together. There are kytes made in the shape of animals or other things. They are fun kytes; they are always bright. These festivals attract crowds of people. Many families come with children.
