Sorry I haven’t written for so long but I’ve been really busy. I’m here in Greece working as a volunteer for the Sea Turtle Protection Society (ARCHELON). It’s a charitable organisation and I really love it! ARCHELON protects sea turtles and their habitats. When I arrived here they taught me all about surveying and protecting the turtles’ nests and eggs. So far, I’ve picked up rubbish and patrolled a beach with some other volunteers. I’ve also given information to some tourists about turtles.
It’s hard work but it’s enjoyable and I’ve made many friends from different parts of the world. It’s nice to be able to help endangered animals and still have fun at the same time.
